The Reverse Auction application is the primary focus of
Tech-Net.com, supplemented by a complete line of fee based Third Party Services,
Virtual RFP, industry content, online buying guides, RFP template builders,
Vendor rating services, and Virtual Sales Presentations - all to assist both Buyer and
Sellers.
Reverse Auction
1. Buyer Submits Quote - The Quote Request form is where the buyer provides
vendors with detailed information to obtain an accurate quote.
If the buyer needs to learn more about the products/services he/she is requesting,
our online Buying Guides, Bid Service Consultants and Virtual Sales Presentations can help.
2. Buyer Receives Custom Quotes Fast – Qualified vendors quickly respond with quotes custom tailored to the buyer’s specific request.
3. Open Bidding Insures the Most Competitive Solution – Vendors can view quotes submitted by competing vendors (but not their identity). They can observe where buyers are in the process, and find out which quotes buyers liked or disliked. This enables vendors to make a more compelling and more valuable offer.
4. Buyer Compares Quotes and Contacts Vendors – The buyer can use the Bid Analyzer tool to easily compare quotes by viewing the details in a side-by-side format, and then contact the vendors of his/her choice off-line. The buyer’s identity will remain strictly confidential until he/she chooses to have the seller contact him/her.
